A Successful Rugby Tour for the U14

The U14 Rugby Team toured Manchester last weekend, playing against Stockport Grammar, Manchester Grammar and Altrincham Grammar School for Boys. They came away with 3/3 wins and performed brilliantly against some tough opposition.

Thank you to Mr Corbett (SGS) and Mr Meakin (AGSB) for accommodating us. The boys enjoyed watching the new Bond movie and the Ireland v All Blacks game. However, the big match of the weekend took place on Saturday afternoon with Ellis Dunn and Henry Dawson pitting their wits against Mr Cringle and Mr Jelly in a round of Dino Golf. It was a tense affair, going right down to the wire. Rather fortuitously, Ellis Dunn sunk a hole in one on the 18th to claim bragging rights over the teachers!
