We are delighted to congratulate Upper Sixth (Year 13) student Tallulah, on receiving an offer to study Japanese at Oxford University.
Currently immersed in the IB Diploma Programme, Tallulah is undertaking a diverse and challenging range of subjects here at King William’s College, including English Literature & Language, Geography, French, German, Physics, and Mathematics. She credits the IB for broadening her academic perspective and preparing her for university.
Speaking about her fantastic achievement, Tallulah said:
“I’ve always loved studying languages, and I was lucky enough to receive an offer for my dream course, Japanese at Oxford with a year abroad. Hoping that I meet the grade requirements, after this degree I hope to study International Relations as a postgraduate, and from there go into diplomacy or international aid. The IB has been an incredible experience for me. I have been able to enjoy a broad range of subjects which have widened my views on a variety of topics and inspired me to attempt a range of new opportunities, particularly through CAS. The skills I’ve gained undoubtedly helped me prepare for my Oxford interviews, and they will be invaluable at university.”
