Summer term is exam term! For our Year 13 IB students, final written papers are well under way and will end in the third week of May, with results issued on 6th July.
Many of our students will pass through the UCAS system. UK university entry remains highly competitive, with a record 577,725 students accepted onto undergraduate courses in 2025 through UCAS. We are proud to say that our cohort will be joining hundreds of thousands of other students embarking on bachelor degrees in the UK, unlocking a wide range of future pathways.
KWC students have secured offers from a broad selection of institutions in the UK, on courses ranging from Physiotherapy, Law and Finance to Geography and Music. Subject to results, destinations include Durham University, University of Manchester, University of Bristol, University of Warwick, King’s College London, University of Edinburgh and Imperial College London. Six students have gained places at Durham University to study courses such as Geography and Sport Science, while one student has secured an offer from the University of Warwick to study Philosophy, Politics and Economics, a course which typically selects around one in five applicants. Special congratulations go to our only applicant to Imperial College London, who has an offer to study Chemistry; an especially competitive course.
Internationally, our students will also be progressing to the University of Toronto, as well as pursuing architecture in Italy, law at Utrecht University, Creative Industries at 3IS (Institut International de l’Image et du Son) in Paris, and engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology.
We wish them all the very best of luck as they take this exciting next step.
