Last month, The Buchan School was delighted to welcome alumnae back onsite for the Lady Laura Lunch 2024.
Over 70 alumnae were in attendance at the event, which bought together former students from a wide range of decades. Class years spanned from the 1950s all the way through to 2004.
The event gave attendees the chance to reunite with old friends and share many wonderful memories of their time at The Buchan School. There was also an archive display of photos, showcasing life at The Buchan School from the 1940s through to the 1990s.
All money raised through donations on the day will help to improve cookery at The Buchan School.
The Lady Laura Lunch is held annually in memory of Lady Laura Buchan, who established The Buchan School in 1875. Lady Laura strongly believed in education for girls.
The External Relations team would like to extend a huge thank you to all the alumnae who joined us on the day and to those who donated so generously.
The Lady Laura Lunch will take place again next year to celebrate 150 years of The Buchan School.
