An expanded team of experienced tutors offers guidance across almost every subject, ensuring that help is always close at hand. Alongside dedicated study time and consistent routines, this personalised support is making a measurable difference. Internal analysis has shown that pupils who boarded during (I)GCSE mock examination periods achieved notable improvements in their academic performance, demonstrating the value of a boarding environment that nurtures both wellbeing and ambition.
Life beyond the classroom is equally rich. One evening might see pupils baking together or enjoying a themed supper (South African and French were popular this year); another could involve stargazing under the Isle of Man’s famous dark skies or simply relaxing with friends in front of a movie. At weekends, the Island itself becomes an extension of the classroom. Boarders might wander the ancient streets of Castletown, explore hidden glens, watch grey seals basking at The Sound or spot wheeling seabirds above the cliffs at Langness.
