Musical Brilliance at St German’s Cathedral

Last Thursday, 13th November, the stunning setting of St German’s Cathedral, Peel, was filled with exceptional talent as musicians from King William’s College and The Buchan School came together for a concert as part of the annual series organised by the Foundation of Music and the Arts, which works to support the musical life of the Cathedral.

Each performance showcased the skill and hard work of our young musicians, and they created a most enjoyable and inspiring evening for the audience.

Congratulations to all the performers, and to the music staff, accompanists, families and supporters who made the event possible.

Steve Daykin, Director of Music at King William’s College, said:

“The opportunity for our musicians to perform in a setting as wonderful as the Cathedral, at the heart of the island community, is really important to us and we are grateful to all at the Cathedral for their warm welcome.”

Here’s to many more evenings celebrating the vibrant musical life of our School.
