Yesterday saw the annual IOM Schools Cross Country championships held at Port e Chee in glorious running conditions. Firstly, well done to those Fourth and Fifth Form pupils who have been regularly participating in cross country in their PE lessons over the past month preparing for the competition. Cross country running is challenging but the benefits are plentiful and equip the children with many skills for school life and beyond.
Congratulations to all our team members yesterday who represented the school so well. The U12 and Intermediate girls won their team events. There were some significant individual team performances yesterday too with a number of podium finishes. Amelie, Marchella, Penny, Macy, Lola, Kieran and Charlie.
